Indie Music For Life is accepting donations for our children's program so that we can distribute in 2008 and beyond, a package of material to pediatric cancer patients. In this package we will include the above two CDs as well as some other fun items like flutes or harmonicas, stickers, coloring books, crayons, etc and educational material on the benefits of music and laughter therapy for cancer patients. The Hopeful Princess CD is a read along story about a little princess named Sophia who with a very brave knight fights the cancer dragon. Musical score is by Federico Fasce of Italy, who was one of the artists featured on our 2008 Rock/Acoustic CD, and the story is written and narrated by Michele Ryan, our Director of Laughs For Life. We had a real life inspiration for this story in Sophia Langford a 3 year old girl that we all know and love that is fighting brain cancer.
The 2008 Music & Laughter for Children compilation CD is in production now with song selections taking place. The CD design is completed and as soon as the song sections are finalized it will go to print and not only be sold on this web site but will be included in these FREE packets that will be distributed to as many pediatric cancer patients as possible.
Your contributions will help us reach as many children as possible. But by making a donation in the following amounts we will list your name in the following categories and send you a copy of both of the children's CD projects for you to share with a child.
